1. Maruti Suzuki Alto (2,59,501 units)

Available only with a 1.3-litre diesel engine with both, 5-speed manual and automated manual transmissions, it is an efficient and easy to drive small SUV. It has mileage of upto 24.3kmpl.Its sales increased by 6.34% over previous year.

6. Maruti Suzuki WagonR (1,51,462 units)

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is a hatchback with the BS6-compliant 1.0-litre Petrol Engine. It is available in both Manual and Automatic transmission. However, the updated motor now returns mileage of upto 21.79 kmpl. Its sales was decreased by 10.18% but it still maintained to appear in top 10 list.

7. Hyundai Elite i20 (1,40,225 units)

The Elite i20 is a 5 seater Premium Hatchback and it has 1 Diesel Engine and 1 Petrol Engine on offer. The Diesel engine is 1396 cc while the Petrol engine is 1197 cc. It is available with the Manual and Automatic transmission.It has mileage of upto 22kmpl. Its sales increased by 2.96% over previous year.

8. Hyundai Grand i10 (1,26,041 units)

The Grand i10 is a 5 seater Hatchback with only Petrol engine on offer with 1197 cc. It is available with the Manual transmission. The Grand i10 has a mileage of 18.9 kmpl. Grand i10 made a surprise appearance in top 10 list by achieving sales of 1,26,041 units.

9.Hyundai Creta (1,24,300 units)

The Hyundai Creta is a compact SUV which has 2 Diesel Engine and 1 Petrol Engine on offer. The Diesel engine is 1396 cc and 1582 cc while the Petrol engine is 1591 cc. It is available with the Manual and Automatic transmission. The Creta has a mileage of 14.8 to 22.1 kmpl. Creta maintained its position in the list with slight increase of 1.6%.

10. Maruti Suzuki Celerio (1,03,734 units)
